Chavez: US Weapon Test Caused Haiti Earthquake

Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez has once again accused the United States of playing God. But this time it's Haiti's disastrous earthquake that he thinks the U.S. was behind. Spanish newspaper ABC quotes Chavez as saying that the U.S. navy launched a weapon capable of inducing a powerful earthquake off the shore of Haiti. He adds that this time it was only a drill and the final target is ... destroying and taking over Iran.

Sorry to change the subject but how about that Iran (sorry but I think Chavez is a joke), Do you really think they want a war? They are going to put all their stuff above ground to show the world, I bet them tanks are full of pepsi, lol.

I'm not sure Iran "wants" a war, but they are getting closer everyday to starting one.

The United States can only hold Israel at bay for so long, once they feel threatened they are likely to strike Iran.

While the US might publicly scold Israel, privately the US would provide weapons, intelligence and military assistance in any preemptive strike on Iran's nuclear sites. The US wouldn't be alone as Great Britian and other western governments are equally upset with Iran and treaty bound to defend Israel. Not too mention the Arab governments who see Iran's nuclear development as a threat to the region triggering a nuclear race among Mideast nations. It wouldn't be long before Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan and Kuwait sought the ability to counter any nuclear threat from Iran.

The region has always been a "powder keg" and the introduction of a nuclear Iran is sure to light the fuse.
