Sun Storms could cause problems

Sun Storms could cause problems

I didn't read the entire article, but from the sounds of it, it could be a problem.
Radios, power grids and most communications at one time or another could be effected.

Maybe it will stop all cell phones, hopefully it will. I get so sick of people on cell phones driving and or texting. I would have hit a young lady driving while on the cell phone talking last week. Pulled out right in front of me and wasn't looking, but was doing a lot of talking. Then when she seen what she had done, she started giggling! Really wanted to do some damage, but thought only lasted a few seconds! Should just have hit her car, wasn't going that fast.

No, you did the right thing, if you bumped every idiot driver out there your insurance rates would be astronomical, lol.

GZ, just another damned thing to worry about, now our prez can flip the switch. I/we probably should be better prepared. Maybe we should keep some of them old technologies around too, I had "my ears on when I was a teenager, "rubber duck" out.

Sun Spots/activity, hope they have a back up system for that one, lol.

Did you notice the date of your post, lol

It does not matter who the "prez" is... we need a back up plan.

NIce picture from NASA. ;)

I don't know or understand all the issues involved with these solar flares and sun eruptions.

But it's safe to assume they have been occurring and impacting Earth since time began. Only today are scientists able to witness them in real time and measure them.
