I can't believe that NASA story... incredible!

These "pacs" are just political slush funds managed and used by candidates to maintain power and the status quo.

I don't belong to either political party, and won't vote for any career politicians.

I'd rather have an honest dumbass representing me, than a bunch of slick crooks any day.

Hope you had fun but I wanted a forum where it wasn't either republican or democrat. We have some serious problems in this country with our political system, we even have a supreme court that sez (Money is freedom of speech), no it isn't, money drowns out "freedom of speech".

You all and me can yak alnight but GE can do more in 30 seconds than we can in a year.

Laughing the Supreme Court was correct in it's opinion. Money represents a freedom of speech, that is the law.

You may favor some exception to the law when the "source" of the money is not from an individual who has a legal right to vote in an election, but rather a union, special interest group or company.

The Court has no power to "write" law, only to enforce law. And I really doubt either political party has the political courage or desire to define or clarify the existing law.

LOL...

You may not agree with the Court's decision on the issue of "Free Speech" and corporate campaign contributions.

But it is a matter of settled law now, and the Court is not likely to change or reverse it's opinion. :o

Unless Congress acts to clarify and change the language of the Constitution.

That would mean a Constitutional Convention and the States would then have to vote to accept any changes. Neither political party is likely to support such a move by Congress.

John Boehner?

The people of Ohio are the only ones who can get rid of John Boehner, but they continue to elect him to represent and serve them in Congress.

You can thank the Republican members of Congress who voted to make him Minority Leader.

Again Laughing you seem a bit politically confused. The "Tea Party" movement is non-partisan and supports constitutional government and fiscal conservative policies. Something neither political party wants to adopt or endorse fully.
